799 days was a pretty good run...

"So now goodbye
This time I will be gone, goodbye
I stayed for way too long..."

Halloween Weekend!

Yes, my friends, it is upon us.  Expect wild stories and pictures of the next couple of days (that culmitate with a Gwen Stefani concert in Boston).

As for my costume, this is what I wore last year:
...

How will I top that this year?  Here's a hint:

I f'ing the 90's!

As much as I enjoy that glorious decade where I matured into the responsible, contributing member of society I am today, it has become painfully clear that waaaay too many people at this school lack tact.

Most of you, my dear friends, are utterly tactless.  To you, I give you the five fingers across the face...

SLAP!

Let's start off with dance floor ettiquette.  If you should feel the need to move across a dance floor, please do so in a manner that goes along with the general flow of things.  It's like merging onto a freeway.  You certainly wouldn't get on the freeway at 25mph slower than everyone else, and you certainly wouldn't do so with all doors on your vehicle wide open, so why the fuck do you try to move across the dance floor while giving everyone else shoves and elbows as you slosh on by?!?  Yeah, I'm looking at you, you little, short, ugly freshmen teabaggers.  I swear, half of you annoyed the shit out of me, and I almost bitch slapped about 17 of you at the I  the 90's dance.  Seriously, don't fuckin' strut around like you own the fuckin' place, because I will slap you.  Better yet, I will stomp on you, you short little cockroaches!  To those of you who do know that the best way to get across the floor is to kind of dance your way along with everyone else while saying, "Excuse me," I give you gold stars, and if you said that while walking by me on the dance floor, chances are you made me smile on Saturday night.  To those kind people, I say, "Thank you," and I hope that your other little tactless wiener friends trip and fall outside of Annenberg as I walk out of Justice, that way I can laugh and point at them.

People also need to learn how to get on elevators.  Similar to when getting on a bus, wait for the people who need to get out to exit before getting in.  Don't just fuckin' barge in as people are trying to leave.  It's rude, it doesn't make much sense, and in my eyes, it makes you look like a douche!

Dammit, now I'm all flustered.  Sing me away, Kylie.

"You kiss me / I'm fallin' / It's your name I'm callin' / You touch me / I want you / Feels like I've always known you..."

I've become instantaneously infatuated with Kylie Minogue's "On a Night Like This."

It started playing on my CD player while walking to get a hair cut (yeah, I know, it's shorter) and I got the biggest smile on my face.

That, my friends, is love.

Speaking of love, I miss "Degrassi" and Marco.

This picture just made me cry.  I've you've seen the show you know why.

But, I should be happy, and I am, cuz the lovely Abbey Wright turns 21 today!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABBEY!!!

"She will be loved..."

Before I go on, I guess I should just note that I am, in fact, continuing with my end of summer blog, but since study cards are due tomorrow, I am now officially changing it's name to:

The Official Beginning of Fall Blog

as for the number of parts this will have, I am not really sure.  It might be one, or it might be one dozen.  We'll see.

Let's Go: Home
After a very long 5 months, my job as AE for MEX ended in August.  I had a blast, and being the masochist that I am, I want to work in the office next year, too, if they'll take me.  (Special shout-outs to the SPAM Pod, for being stellar, and a special arrullo a la pompis, because we're taking Spanish 54 together.  Yay!)  Anyway, I went home for 12 days, Luis baked me a cake, Ayme and I ate at El Picante and saw "The 40-Year Old Virgin," I watched Dawson's Creek: Season 3 on DVD, some RAZA peeps and I lost our voices and some babas at Six Flags, and got I fatter.  I love it!  Now I'm back at school, reading a whole bunch, and dying to use my gym key.

Extracurriculars
Cheer is a go.  It's exciting, mostly because I am actually starting from day one.  MJ is there; I'm not really doing the company this semester/year(?), but I am choreographing.  I am putting my elevator prowness to good use by choreographing to "Don't Cha" by the Pussycat Dolls, "Rumors" by Lindsay Lohan, and "What You Waiting For?" by Gwen Stefani.  I am basically going to choreograph as I ride up and down the Mather elevator.  The best part: although I do it, no one will see me.  It's for the best because, frankly, I move waaaaay better than about 90% of the school's female population, and it's not about me moving better considering that I am a guy, I just move better period, and I fear that these women will get jealous of me.  Great, now here come the angry emails and threatening letters and messages.  Well, it's true.  It's not that women here can't move, it's just that I do it better.  Waaaaaaaay better.  Some exceptions are a few sexy ladies and sister friends, some of my cheer babes, some Expressions hotties, Bea, and my girls of summer.  Expressions: I'll try out, but I don't know if I'll make it into anything.  RAZA: I'm staying on until November, even after my little "I don't wanna be on the board" tantrum last spring.  With the voidness of Glenda (I miss you, pendeja!), I can't just bail.  To wrap it all up, I might be more involved in other groups that I haven't really taken an active role in before - stay tuned for details on that.

Hurry! Somebody call Guiness - I believe I've got a record for them...
Five days, people.  Five days is all it took.  Even worse, I set myself up for it, even after I told myself I wouldn't.  More on that later, when I am not still so hung up on it...

Classes
No French citation for me.  I wanna be happy, and sane, and sleep these next two years.  So, with that in mind, in the category of "Sergio's Biggest Pain in the Butt", the classes nominated are:
Spanish 54
English 124g
English 10a
Moral Reasoning 22
I think I already know which one the winner is, only because I feel I am going to love the other three.

Super Kawaii Kamera!!!
I finally bought my Gwen Stefani camera! Yay!!!  If I like you, I will take your picture with it.

More to come at a later time, hopefully sooner than the last.

PS.  I anyone knows any good songs a la "You Look So Fine" by Garbage or "All of This" by Blink-182 do be sure to send them my way.  To some extent, I'll even take the India.Arie "Ready for Love"s out there, but I hope not to reach that state just yet.
